Finally, look at the exact matches, especially that funny little shadow indentation on the top right of the cross at 2 o'clock. The 1939 appearing more like a dark band. And the folds around the loop. Exact matches. And just noticed a reflection inside the core of the cross very top left.

Nice photo work! That is very interesting. But don't you think the picture in frame #7 above is the same cross as well? Thanks

I don't think it is but only because I have the luxury of a crisp clear shot of it.

I've published an entire list of all the photos with personal details for each recipient. Too much text to put in a post. Over 200 photos. Click here and go to RK Winners of the Luftwaffe.

Thanks. Let me know if any of these match your RK's, etc.

Another more well know photo of Stolle that appears in many books. I think he was the epitome of the Luftwaffe fighter pilot from the looks of him.

                          Very nice Andy...

And hats off to Brian for making this gesture in the first place. A true collector, with a true collectors ethics.

Yes! I must say Brian, these pics did belong w/ their original recipient group if possible, and it was very good of you to facilitate this!

Thank you fellow collectors. It just seems it ought to be this way.

Yeah münster really does look like Fox!

I hope you guys check out my near final list. I've corrected a few last names and first names and kills but it's pretty close.

I'm still contemplating what to do with all these. It just seems unfortunate for them to sit in a safe deposit box and never be seen...
