    Just Found - Memelland Medal

    Hello and Happy New year!

I hate having my first post of 2010 to be an "Opinion Thread" but I just came across this Memel medal that was in the bottom of box that I was going through and was wondering if it is good.

I've gone through several old thread on the same topic and am unable to determin it's authenticity. It has the upright "G" and what appears to be the stamped "B" between the two guys. From what I have read some post say this type is "good" and others say " Bad" and would like some confirmation please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!
    John

This Memel-buisness has been a swamp and issue for debate.

I would like to point out that this is only my personal opinion of this pictured medal: Not for my collection, I would not buy it if I was offered.

But you will probaly get some other opinions too.

The tilted G-version is by many collectors seen as a safe bet. (I perosnally think that there are other good Memel versions out there too)

John, it's just my opinion, but I don't like this medal either.
A Memel is always tricky, I guess...

FWIW, here's the "B" on an Anschluss medal.

                            I ment B and O for octOBer.

As I think it cames from memellandes medal made from 13.march medals.
