Did they ever make any miniature standarte flags, like a luftwaffe flag or army unit flag... let's say approximetely 6inch by 6inch. If so what was their purpose.

Short answer is yes, with their purpose being
also a good question - IMO service souvenirs.

I always considered them table flags, not sure its known but could be souvenirs from a visit I suppose. They are out there and fakes as well.

I'll have to take a pic of my Army Standarte. Who knows, it may have hope of being real, as opposed to the SS Standarte from the other thread!! I'll try and put it on tomorrow.

Back when I did militaria shows I had some nice
quality graphics prototype miniatures made for my
table decor, but never proceeded to production.

No, but glad you like them, I thought they looked "pretty
cool" too. But little interest was shown in them at the time,
so never had more made beyond these small prototypes.

Via a quick look online, I found one listed for $225.
