    Rare early type of tunic

Here is a fun one I picked up yesterday. Let see if people know what it is. Nick G you probably will know right away but just PM me. The number plucked from the boards was "36" which is a clue and helped me confirm what I thought it was when I first saw it. The shadow sort of makes it look like it has black piping on the lapel but it does not.

Eagle and color comparison to issue Army tunics (two on left) from 1933-34 same time as the jacket being made.

Weimar transitional? Beautiful color shade and eagle.

No Ray, sort of related to, but not really Weimar. I will let people guess for awhile. I was very happy to find it. Rare and IMO untouched. It was made in 1934 which is a clue.

Unmodified (8 front buttons) Dienstrock of the pattern adopted december 22th 1920.
The colar looks dark blue/green, it was initialy dark feldgrau, so logicaly a replacement according regulations in 1935 ?
Seldomly seen tunic, particulary for a NCO.

I was guessing made before and that the 1934 stamp was just a later dtd. upgrade through the depot. That interior eagle stamp has got to be a clue? Seems like I seen it on a buckle before.
Will look forward to the revealing of this tunic,,, thanks for f*ucking with my head.

Not a 1920 pattern RH tunic, something else 1934 is the year it was made "Zuschnitt Nr." (Tailoring order/style number). The dark green collar was added, the original color was the base color of the tunic. This is a tough one as my guess would be very few survived.

I starting to lean toward Freistatdt Preussen or Saxon Police by this stamp?

Reminds me of a 1915 field tunic.

                          Very nice..

It is based on Imperial designs. It also probably is related to us seeing a lot of early issue Heer tunics in this blue green color wool.

I'm researching the Hermann Goring book by Bender/Petersen from my library.

I'm kinda' throwing it out there as a prospective Landespolizeigruppe (Goring?) tunic by the dates, prior to activation and incorporation into the LW 1935 or army???
