    IAB maker ID - please

    I purchased this unmarked IAB recently but I don't know who is it's maker. Someone has one idea about it please?

    this one is from an unknown maker. its called "Broken stem".

      Hi Ricardo,

      I can only agree with Alex, a nice original "broken stem" IAB. The question comes up often, so here is an exhibit of why these are called "broken stem". If you look at the left side of the wreath, the 2nd leaf has a segmented vein that is quite distinct. Since this maker is still unknown, the broken stem is a convenient nickname.

          Hi Ricardo

          I agree with the others...a lovely example of the unknown maker referred to as a Broken Stem.

          I find the amount of material missing from the hollowed out rifle on the reverse interesting. Each one seems to be unique from one another.

          Here is my example.
