Cue the choir of angels, the Assman has landed!

It's a true stunner Nigel and just about as rare as a New Form EK can be.

The paint texture on the core is unique and simply beautiful. As you pointed out the finishing is superb. Despite unburnished frames, the quality is just outstanding. The open hinge block is very squat and tight, again speaking to the quality.

Excellent Nigel! Your already wonderful EK collection improves dramatically yet again!

I can only agree with Mike's comments. The texture on the core is absolutely stunning, as well as the finish on the frame !
As mentioned, a very rare cross to find .... yet another great addition to your fine collection.

I´m not an ek collector but this one is only great, wonderful and totally rare.
Congrats, Nigel, for this great piece, it gets into the right ek collection

                              Super, Nigel.

I love the marking and the core looks blackened, just as I love them to be.

Please do update your great thread of makers of the 57 EK1 ... I use it constantly.
