    ReichsKriegesFahne?

    Greetings,
I recently purchased this flag and at the time thought I was getting a really nice original in a great size for display. I believe the flag is made of light wool and the construction was typical for the period. The flag glows under UV light which is very troubling to me. So either this some super copy of a flag or the UV test on this piece is invalid. I have seen Imperial German General's Coolar Tabs that also glowed so I it is only one indicator of authenticity. Thanks in advance for all that respond.
    Best Regards,
    Marion

The detail of the bunting and rope is not something you expect to see on a copy.

Many Thanks to all the replied! I would have been much more suspicious of the DAK and SS examples but it is a lesson well learned and one of many in this hobby. I would ask to delete this thread but it might be helpful if someone would pen a dangerous copy flag thread so this knowledge could be readily shared.
