That is really neat! Is there some sort of packing within the container to keep the shell secured? The container is beat up and yet the shell is in super condition.

Always a nice sight...
It's a 10,5 cm Spgr. Patr. 32 L/4,4 for the 10,5 cm SK.C. 32.
Like i said. it was mostly used in the 10,5 cm Schnelladekanone C/32 in 8,8 cm Marine Pivotlafette C/30D, which was an antiaircraftgun for both land and sea.
But this ammunition was also used in the 10,5 cm Ubts u. Tbts Flak L45, which were mounted on U-boats and Torpedoboten.
Other guns: 10,5 cm SK.L./45 and 10,5 cm Flak L/45
Paint and markings on both shell and case are post-war Norwegian.
But it's still a cool piece.Last edited by Zünder; 02-10-2005, 11:43 AM.

Nice complete round.
The SKC\32 was used on all sorts of ships as well as coastal artillery, including one of the batteries up where i live. Various types of torpedo boat and minesweepers had this model of gun.
It's also worth remembering that many coastal artillery batteries were kept in use after the war, especially in Norway, so there was and is a fair amount of this type of ammo around....not that it comes up for sale often of course.Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
