Thank you Gerdan. I appreciate your help. I have long wondered the relevance to the picture below in my great grandmas photo album but now it makes sense. I believe she must have lived above the bar of "Fritz" Konig.



It would be amazing to locate current address but I can't find a Luther Strasse in Essen Kray on google maps?

Also, any ideas on the unit stamp towards bottom left of picture? I'm not familiar with such nomenclature and part of it wasn't stamped fully.

is "Martin-Luther-Strasse" - the full name of "Luther" ist Martin Luther":
