    Enamel sign Reichsnährstand

    Hi everyone,

    I am not sure if this is the right section to post this, but it sounded the closest.

    I recently acquired this enamel sign of the Reichsnährstand. It was the result of a few flyers I stuck on a few cars at a local festival. Turned out I even knew the guy who offered it when we met, therefore I know where the sign comes from. This guy's grandfather was the Ortsbauernführer, the sign was stored away for 64 years now and as you can tell by looking at the picture it was stored away well.

    Since this isn't really my field of collecting, i would be happy to trade it if anyone is interested.

    Anyhow, I just wanted to show you how well this particluar piece was preserved.

          Hello,
          My sign hat also - Ortsbauernführer no Der. Perhaps Heli should make a search looking for a der Ortsbauernführer sign. My gut feeling is he won't find many.

                "Der" should not be included later then spring 1939 officially!
                (Reichsministerialblatt Nr. 39 from March 1, 1939)

                All of such information one can find in my book: Amts-, Behörden- und Dienststellenschilder, Wall Plaques and Official Office Signboards of Hitler's Germany, 1933-1945. In various threads it is told where one can buy a copy.

                    Names most often found with these wall plaques are for example:
                    Stempel Schmidt, Berlin-Werder (Havel);
                    Emaillierwerk Hannover Mellendorf. This concrn also can have the indication EMHA;

                          I was noted about this version after the book was being released, but shown in the book was a Bezirksbauernführer, as well as a sort of districts wall plaque for Hannover, which included a management-department and a Bäuerliche Werkschule und Beratungsstelle.

                          I am convinced there were more indications to be found, but as I note: no actual information whatsever was found during my research about this organization. Not a single original publication showed up after the book-release!
