Inside of a Torn.E.b Zubehor box

Does anyone have good photos of the insides of a Torn.E.b accessories box? I'm trying to restore one and need to know what is missing.

    Thank you,

    Yuri

As far as I know, there isn't much inside them other than the 2 batteries and the cable. There are a few good pictures of the one I bought on this page:

Now if I can only figure out which customs warehouse has it.

      Thanks Neil,

That's good information. Do you know if the wire patch panel was covered with a metal housing, or was it open like that?

      Thanks,

The panel was closed with a bakelite lid. There are actually two types of Torn.E.b internals. Early boxes tend to have the bakelite interconnection box, while later boxes tend to have a plug connector so that the power lead could be disconnected and used with the E.W.c. In the early boxes the power lead was fixed and could not be removed.

I am showing a picture of an incorrectly restored box to show the difference, you can see the bracket where the plug was mounted against the left sidewall of the box, while you also see the interconnection box.

The next pics show the front and back of the lid of the interconnection box:

Originally the cable to the 2B38 compartment would go through the dividing wall via an airtight goosneck grommet (with the lid closed, the lead acid battery was complete sealed of from the rest of hte battery box with it's own ventilation hole in the side of the box). Later on when increasingly the E.W.b was used to replace the anode battery, this cable was often removed to be fed directly to the E.W.b terminals and the gooseneck removed so that the E.W.b cable could be connected to the 2B38. There are also boxes boxes where the edge of the battery compartment was dented or cut out to create space for the E.W.b cable:

Does anyone have a very nice crisp photo of the "Zubehor" writing on the box lid? The earlier, the better.

              Thank you,

              Yuri

Does anyone have the plug connector which goes into the bracket Funksammler describes above?
