I used to have Deumer + S&L wartime EK's ( both EK1 / EK2 ) in my collection, but all gone now, no chance for me to compare.
For some collectors, the difference between wartime vs postwar production is holy. But as stated in this thread ... " how to distinguish wartime production from immediate postwar production " ???

      Arrived

      Here it is:

The frame has a mirror-bright finish and there is some paint in the beading. Does that all seem ok to you guys? It is a beauty, I'm just asking.

      Thanks

          Thanks Nigel. As always.

Any problems with the shiny frame or the paint in the beading (painted after assembly, or repainted)?

          Overall condition is superb.

                  Hi Trevor,

A very nice addition to your growing 57er collection! It's got all the desirable attributes. It's early, high quality, MM'd and very pleasing to the eye!
