Excellent posts Chris, I knew you'd have some. This does go to show just how many so far we have and for a firm like Pekuro that continued after the war, just how easy it can be to get caught with ones trousers down.

I see most of the post war ones have 1890 at the top, what do you think of the one from post #8 for being war time, it is significantly different from the other similar looking ones and it doesn't have that 1890 on it?

Here is one I have. I don't know the era. Bear with me for 3 photos, at different angles, to get a better idea.

#8 is most commonly seen on pre/early-war civil visors. I don't recall ever seeing that exact logo used on a postwar visor.

Bob, yours is the "standard" wartime Pekuro logo, but in silver with a distributors mark.
JT, you're right, the easiest way to date them as postwar is the "Seit 1890" at the top--I cannot recall them using this on their TR caps.

I know it's a lousy picture, but this M43 sure looks like it has a Peter Kupper stamp when in hand.

                    Regards,

I cannot recall seeing any Wehrmacht Pekuros with the civil-logo. However, I have seen the Wehrmacht-logo on wartime civilian caps with the wasserdicht lining. Here is one:

I found another beauty from RonR's massive collection, hope you don't mind Ron. The inside is excellent.

Anyone got a Civil Pekuro with Rayon or Silk liner for the pictorial history? I haven't seen one yet.
